You won’t find any loud, wind-making leaf blowers when we take care of your yard. Not only do they give off emissions, but they also blow the buds and leaves right off your blooming flowers. If there’s a pile of leaves that needs to be cleaned up, we’ll use a rake.
Gasoline-powered lawn/gardening equipment causes up to 5% of total air pollution. Natives work much better than mowed grass as a carbon sink due to their extensive root systems and increased ability to retain and store water. Native plants allow for a more ecologically resilient and diverse landscape. Using this equipment not only emits toxic and carcinogenic pollutants dangerous to human health but greenhouse gasses which directly contribute to climate change. It’s better without the noise and exhaust.
We’re not a fan of weeds, nor weed-whackers for that matter. So if we spot weeds in your yard, we will pull them out one at a time, hand by hand. Weed-whackers tend to chop anything in their path, which could destroy precious flowers and blooming plants that aren’t meant to be cut down.
There are many chemicals found in many landscape maintenance routines, from algaecides to remove bacteria from ponds to fungicides used to treat affected plants and flowers. However, you won’t find any of those in RENEW’s natural nutrients. All of our fertilizers are 100% organic and holistically created.
